EDHEC inaugurates its first "research day" on June 7, 2007 at the Pôle Universitaire Léonard de Vinci in Paris.
The EDHEC Research Day unites several managers for a series of witness accounts explaining that for a leading business school like EDHEC, research only makes sense if it serves the interests of business organisations and the economy in general. EDHEC's unique approach to research is through its quest for excellence and desire to contribute actively to the needs of business.
Up until now, research has been perceived as inaccessible or inapplicable and yet it is the basis of competition of all businesses. Faced with this reality, EDHEC Research Day aims to demonstrate how research into management can be applied to economic players on both national and international levels.
Through testimonials from business leaders, the EDHEC Research Day will illustrate why research has been put at the centre of EDHEC's strategy, and how its original approach enables it to combine academic excellence with industrial relevance to contribute to the public debate and help firms innovate.
In the numerous workshops, researchers and practitioners will present EDHEC's Centres of Research, their policies regarding industry partners and their latest research findings in Accounting & Financial Analysis, Economics, Capital Markets; Management, Marketing and Law.
