To provide the student with vocabulary, concepts, methods and tools to deal with these issues
To expose the student to the strategically important role of integrated planning and execution in management.
PART 2: TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT
Quality is often associated with bureaucracy, paper work and other constraints. As a consequence, for many companies it is often far from being a priority. However, it is significant to note that most of the top 500 firms in the world have led major quality projects proving that no firm can be successful without quality. Quality is not additional work; it is just part of it. Quality is pure management
This part of the course will enable the participants to develop a unique and broad understanding of quality. It aims at providing the students with a thorough knowledge of what quality is and how it can be applied within firms. At the end of it, students should be able to manage basic quality projects using quality methods and tools.
