This course stresses the characteristics and importance of corporate social responsibility and corporate governance in different countries and organisations.
Emphasis is laid on corporate social responsibilities and stakeholders' expectations and on their implications for corporate strategy.

Part 1. Corporate Social Responsibility
Introduction to Corporate Social ResponsibilityCorporate Social Responsibility as a source of competitive advantage. The moral responsibility of executives. the dilemma of the whistleblowerDiffering national approaches to CSRCorporate social responsibility, social awareness and brand equity
Part 2. Corporate Governance
In Part 2, we will first present different and complementary perspectives and central issues in Corporate Governance: legal and economic perspectives, ownership structures and political determinants, regulatory competition, control of management, control of majority shareholders, pyramid structures, executive remuneration, and takeovers.
